Since 2004, I've worked on Coachella's creative, developing a visual language that enhances the brand's presentation and organization. Our aim is to create a cohesive and thoughtful experience for attendees, with attention to detail in digital assets, print materials, and signage.

Our approach delivers a premium and memorable event, with each interaction crafted to create an unforgettable experience. The success of my creative work is a testament to our ability to consistently deliver high-quality events.

Ticket Boxes

At Coachella, our ticket packages are more than just a means of entry - they're an integral part of the festival experience. We carefully design every aspect of the package, from vibrant colors and fonts to custom icons and special effects on maps, staff and public guides, signage, app, and other communications, to create a cohesive and immersive experience.

In addition to wristbands, each ticket box includes a 36-page Welcome Guide with helpful tips and insights to prepare for the event. We also include a unique and special item, such as a paper craft activity, poster, desktop calendar, or a combination of these items.

We meticulously manage the production timeline for each component, ensuring that everything is completed on time and to the highest standards. After completion, the items are shipped to a fulfillment center for assembly and direct shipping to the purchaser. At Coachella, we believe that every aspect of the festival should be a memorable and exciting experience for our fans, including the ticket package.

Details: As a production manager, my role is to coordinate and manage schedules for all creative materials, from communication with manufacturing and fulfillment teams to managing department heads to ensure content deadlines are met. I always pad deadlines to account for potential delays or errors. I developed of a cohesive festival look inspired by the show poster. I create basic style guides to ensure consistency across all festival communications.

In collecting and reviewing over 250,000 RAW images, I select hero shots and features and color-correct images and apply grading to achieve the desired look. I lead copywriters and designers in creating instructional materials. My team and I develop concepts and designs for unique festival items, such as VR viewers, paper crafts, puzzles, posters, and calendars. We confirm and deliver materials that meet the requirements of print shops and manufacturers.

Overseeing finishing processes such as die cutting, laser cutting, foil stamping, embossing, spot gloss, and matte UV is an important aspect of my job. I prepare files for print, including CMYK and spot inks such as Pantone PMS, metallic, and fluorescent colors. When it comes to delivering high-quality output, I always make sure to travel to print shops to perform press checks personally. I ensure that every project is completed on time and to the highest standards.
